Ah, visions of homeschool

violin on kitchen table with books and peaches

One of the benefits of homeschooling is allowing my daughter freedom to work on her interests. Now, with the violin, the benefit will come later, AFTER she masters a few songs not necessarily WHILE she is learning her songs. We are up to three songs after two lessons and the melodies are recognizable! “There Is A Redeemer” is going to be a great Easter special. Visualize this: do some math, play a little piano, work on language arts, play the violin, study science, work on the guitar, unload the dishwasher, shoot some baskets, read a book….and on, and on, and on… I wish I had homeschooled when I was growing up.
