Just got home from a basketball game and investigated the ‘frig. If Olive Garden can use kale why can’t I use the frozen chopped spinach (from making quiche)? Also in the freezer was the already-browned-with-chopped-onion ground beef and a bag of fresh mushrooms (also left from making quiche).
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 cup fresh mushrooms (frozen in a a ziploc sandwich bag)
1 Tablespoon garlic, minced
10-12 oz of frozen, chopped spinach
6 chicken bouillon cubes
1 cup ground beef, browned with chopped onion
seasonings (salt, pepper, Vegeta-from Bosnia)
Brown onion and mushrooms in oil in saucepan, adding garlic, salt and pepper about 1/2 way through cooking. Add water, bouillon cubes, spinach, other seasoning and beef and bring to boil, stirring to dissolve cubes. When flavors are well blended it’s ready to eat.
