WORLD TRIP DAY 42-laundry, packing and dinner with the tutor

Knowing I had at least 36 hours of travel ahead of me starting Monday morning, I slept in on Sunday and then spent the afternoon washing clothes (the laundry room was across the hall in the dorm, yeah!!!) and packing.  Corban has a pole that he puts up across the short hall in front of the window for drying clothes.  Perfect!  I prefer to air dry my things.

After rest and work, I was treated to an evening with Corban and his tutor.  What a sweet girl.  She helps Corban with his Japanese and is working on her English.  She will be spending a year in San Francisco.  We went to a ramen restaurant.  Now that’s some good stuff.  Not like the “college” version.

After our filling meal, we walked down the street to Mister Donuts!  For coffee and tea.  Do you know they serve sweet potato and spinach donuts?  And donut shapes of that vegetable gelatin stuff?

It was a great last night in Japan.
